Summer Time,And The Cleaning Is Easy

Summer’s here, hot, high and sweaty. Well not so much in Arizona…LOL
Families don’t have much time for home cleaning these months. School’s out, kids are at home with friends.
All good.
Depending on your location, summer can be your favorite or least favorite season.
In many areas of the country, it can get too hot to be working outside cleaning under the sun.
If you have health problems, don’t clean your driveway at noon in August. It’s not worth risking your health.
Summer cleaning  have been divided into indoor and outdoor cleaning.
You can do the outdoor cleaning early in the day when the weather is nice outside, and do the indoor cleaninglate in the season in the air-conditioned house.
Looking out my windows and enjoying the scenery. You’ll want to clean the outside windows, screens, and shutters. Need to remove the screens before cleaning the screens and windows, but no need to remove the shutters.
Use a broom to remove spider webs and dirt before using water. Be careful of bees, wasp, and hornet nests.
Ac Window units should be cleaned at the end of the season. Unplug the unit and take off the front cover. Gentlyvacuum the coils with a brush vacuum attachment. Clean the filter.
Central air-conditioning unit, turn off the power to the unit, check the outside for debris, spray it down with a hose, then cover the unit.
Also in a central air-conditioning unit, you should clean the vents and registers. This means removing the registers. You should vacuum both sides
Anyone in your home suffers from allergies? You might consider using a register filter to further clean the air during heating and cooling.
It’s time to sort through your pantry, summer/winter, throwing away whatever has gone bad or won’t be used.
Pay extra attention to “Use By” dates. If the date hasn’t passed but is coming up and you know you’re not going to use the item. Trash them as well.
Floors are causing big stress for many of us, but they need to be cared for regularly.
Wood floors need a warm, clean water wash.  Strip and re-wax your vinyl or linoleum floors, it will bring back their shine.  You may also want to wax some wood floors, stone, and brick.
Cleaning your home in summer, is easier if you’ve been diligent in keeping up with the cleaning needs.    if you find yourself either short of time or energy, engaging the assistance of “green clean phoenix” can save you a lot of time.  You’ll have a cleaner house in far less time, and still get to enjoy that backyard pool with your friends.

Alzheimer’s disease is the nation’s sixth-leading cause of death. An estimated 5.4 million Americans are living with the disease and nearly 15 million are acting as caregivers. It’s time to take action and change the course of this epidemic!
That’s why I’m taking the field with the Association Blondes vs. Brunettes®, a nationwide women’s flag-football league created to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. My teammates and I are training and preparing for game day, but win or lose, our true goal is a world without Alzheimer’s.
I need your support to do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer’s Association advance research to discover methods of prevention, treatment and ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer’s. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.

A Mom’s Perspective

I am a fun mom. Like really fun.  I have the fun house. That house that the neighbor kids ask to go to, and that my son’s pre-k friends ask to be dropped off at. My two kids, ages 2 and 4, are almost always engaged in some sort of art project, playing with friends, or trying out gymnastics, rock climbing, or another exciting activity. My kids enjoy a healthy lifestyle, with organic meals,  often made with produce from our own garden. (They are currently eating popsicles made from blueberries and beets that we just picked, as I write this blog.) But I am not Wonder Woman.  I have realized that I can’t be the mom that I want to be if I don’t have some help. And I have found that for me, some of the most important helpers that I have are the caring, detail oriented, efficient house cleaning services  (I like to refer to them as magiciansfor all of the “magic” they are able to do on my home…) of Green Clean Phoenix.
You see, while I might be a fun mom, I am a terrible cleaner. Like, really terrible. For me, home cleaning is just not something I always able to fit in. I would much rather spend an afternoon painting a mural with my kids and their friends, or planting seeds in our garden than mopping the floor. And since there are only 24 hours in a day, often times the floor, the laundry, or the kitchen ends up getting ignored.  And while I do my best to teach my kids responsibility and to pick up after themselves, they are still small, and obviously unable to do a lot of actual house cleaning. But all of that is ok. I always know that at the end of the week the amazing Green Clean Phoenix team will be there to insure that everythinggets clean and that my family has, not only a fun and enriching, but a clean and healthy environment to live in.  Because of this, I am able to focus my energy on creating wonderful memories for my children to look back on, without all of the stress of getting everything done. It is such a small price to pay for such an awesome outcome.

NEVER STOP GIVING BACK

We received a call on a Sunday night from a lady who was taking her mom out of physical rehab the next day. Her mother sadly enough has cancer and she had come to see her. When she saw her mother’s home she realized her parents really needed help. She thought our green Eco-friendly service was a good fit for a mother with cancer. In speaking to her I scheduled the cleaningimmediately for the following day while knowing our girls were booked. I let my Monday clients know we had an emergency and asked if could we change their times a bit. Everyone agreed. We went and took care of the home. In speaking with my partners we decided we were going to gift this cleaning. We work with an Alzheimer’s Foundation as well and donate there, so we understand the value of giving back. I let the girls that cleaned the house know about this lady’s situation and that they would be paid but we were not going to bill. Edith, one of the girls, immediately said “Cora I will donate my time.” We are not saints but this was such a great feeling to help someone and see how caring our crew is as well. I always take pride in saying I train girls to do detailed work. I can not train kindness. Green Clean not only provides excellent service to the best to our ability but we also care about our clients.
Thank you, all our clients, for if not for your referrals and great reviews we would not be a 5 star company, nor would we have tripled our business in one year. We try to treat everyone with respect. Taking care of our clients our crews and trying to keep everyone happy is very important to us.

Q&A With Patty Vaughn

Q&A: Patty Vaughn

Q&A: Patty Vaughn
For one client, Green Clean’s commercial and home cleaning services are key to
keeping the medical office she manages spotless and her home in top shape.

Question:  Why did you select Green Clean over other residential cleaning services?
Answer:  I met with the representatives of Green Clean and was impressed with their
professionalism and the variety of home cleaning services they provide. Plus, the
products they use are good for the environment, and that’s important to me.
Green Clean is known for sending the same crew consistently.
Question:  What have you come to appreciate about your crew?
Answer:  I have had the same two-person crew since I started with the company. They’re
friendly, trustworthy and thorough, and I know that if I asked them to do a little
extra scrub here, or some extra polishing there, they’d do it happily.
How frequently does Green Clean take care of your home?
Question:  Do they handle your commercial cleaning needs, as well?
Answer:  Green Clean cleans my home twice a month and my office twice a week.
Question:  How did Green Clean tailor its services to your specific cleaning needs?
Answer:  For my office, it is important to have patient areas expertly sanitized. For the
employee areas, it’s important not to have the work disturbed or moved.
Green Clean meets those expectations, and I find that their commercial cleaning
services are as wonderful as their home cleaning services.
Question:  Why is using Eco-friendly products important to you?
Answer:  As a grandparent and as someone who helps care for the patients who visit our
office, I know that the fewer chemicals and toxins we have in our environment,
the better. I appreciate that the products Green Clean uses to clean my home
and office are free of VOCs and other nasty chemicals and compounds.
Question:  If you could describe Green Clean in three words, what would those words be?
Answer:  Thorough, friendly, fantastic!
Question:  Home cleaning services are an investment. How does Green Clean make
that investment worth it?
Answer:  Green Clean saves me time and makes coming home to a clean house really
special. That’s a really good investment. Running a small business and a
household means that time is particularly valuable to me. Green Clean gives me
a little extra time to spend doing things I enjoy, rather than cleaning my home
and office. Plus, their pricing is so competitive, that it’s worth it on every level.

Holidays Cleaning Stress

It’s no secret that the holiday season can trigger stress. Just thinking of it — the  shopping, the food preparation, the family visits, the top-to-bottom home cleaning  can make your heart beat a little faster and your head start to pound the way it does when you know that one nutty family member is coming to dinner.

Stress is so prevalent in the United States, in fact, that 77 percent of Americans feel it at least once a week, according to a recently released Huffington Post survey. Ninety-one percent of those polled felt stress within the past month, and those numbers are compounded during the holidays. What’s one of the top reasons? A lack of home organization and cleanliness.

While Green Clean Phoenix can’t tackle your holiday cooking or shopping or manage that nutty family member, we can help manage the mess. Our home cleaning services can be customized to meet your specific needs, but they always include:
-          A professional, on-time crew
-          Detailed cleaning

Sure, home cleaning services are an investment, but you might commit to a regular cleaning schedule with Green Clean Phoenix as an investment in your mental and physical health. Once your home is clean and clutter-free, you’re more likely to want to keep it that way, according to the same Huffington Post study, reducing your chances of remaining a stress statistic.
